MrsJoseph, how do you create a poll? I will post one for each genre, w/ a cutoff of, say, Sunday?

jhertzog - the "polls" should be at the top - same as starting a thread.... I'll have to play around with it to be sure...

I've already read War of the Worlds as well, so I'd like to pass on that one (though it was good).

This is great! - we're getting close to making a final decision so I'm going to make a thread on WW to let the rest of the group know so they won't feel left out.

I've read The DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons and I liked both - I could do another Dan Brown.

I guess it's just a personal thing, but I can't stand Dan Brown books. When I read The DaVinci Code I felt like he was trying to beat us over the head with what was happening because he felt we'd be too dumb to figure it out on our own. Sorry, end rant. Anyway, I'm not sure if his books are considered thrillers but I'd take a pass on it if that's what we chose. Let's get a vote going already!
